As you can see the District Council 36's web site has a new look. New features include a user friendly Calendar so you can be aware of union activities. There is a lot of material from AFSCME International which follows national issues and legislatiive developementsYour.

TYour Local can have a website similar to this one at no cost. This system was developed by the AFL-CIO and AFSCME International, to make it easy for Locals to edit and post new material. Not surprisingly the system is called LaborWeb. After one two-hour training, you will learn all you need to know post and update your local's own website. Three Locals have already gone up with their sites. locals are 619, 741, 2076. I coudl easily put a link to the pages but I decided to have you put in afscme <Local number>.org on your browser.
